The Yuheng-Weifang project is the fifth approved transmission line of the “ Four AC Four DC “projects which are involved in national air pollution control program, the important part of the main grid of  UHV AC and DC in North China. It will promote the development of energy bases in Shaanxi and Shanxi, and effectively ease the power shortage in Mid-eastern China.
