Zhangbei- Zhangnan Double Circuit 500kV Line Project is an important part of  Zhangjiakou Zhangbei,Shangyi, Kangbao 500kV transmission and transformation project (hereinafter referred to as the "Three Power Four Line" project) ,which is the important project for the State Grid Corporation to implement energy intensive development and to establish a large channel for wind power energy.
